Wendy Benson headed up the planning for our Employee Appreciation Luncheon held on Tuesday following the January Board Meeting. Many owners donated funds and food, making the party a resounding success. We had all but two employees in attendance, along with Elena and her crew from Puna Landscaping. There were ribs, chicken, steak, brats, lots of side dishes, and wonderful desserts. Our hard-working employees really appreciated the feast, and there was money left over Jim to hand out a monetary gift to every employee as he recognized each of them for their special talents and attributes. We also had a drawing for four $50-dollar and one $100-dollar additional gifts.

Many thanks to those owners who helped with the setup, serving, and cleanup. Also to those who contributed food, and especially those who contributed financially to make this possible. Special thanks to Jessie Chambers and Bonnie Goldsmith for setting up and serving, George Pittman, Jim Lisy, and Kurt Goldsmith for barbeque duties, and Pat Ingoglia, who brought the fruit table-decorations that employees could take home with all the leftovers. There were several others whose names I missed, but it couldn't have happened without our phenomenal Wendy Benson.
